Beautify the Northside
We invite you to view Legacy Heritage's Community Projects and get to know our plan for the beautification of Newtown as well as our other green space initiatives. Recently endorsed by Governor Kay Ivey through her Revive Alabama grant program and local Elite Event Planning LLC owner Consuelo Bradley, The Newtown Community Garden, researched and developed by Legacy Heritage executive board members, addresses the blight of vacant lots, food insecurity, nutritional gaps and local empowerment through land ownership.
Our project includes procuring, renovating, and landscaping undeveloped land into outdoor family friendly venues and community gardens that improve and beautify the landscape of many long since forgotten areas and we need your help to complete our work. We are seeking donations monetarily, physical resources, instructional information, or labor to reach our goal.
