The historic election of President Elect Joe Biden and the first African American woman, Vice President Elect Kamala Harris is a momentous time in history.  As a African American business woman, I was very excited and encouraged to see a face that resembles those of my people.  Expressing the nonexistence of a glass ceiling gives young black girls the courage to aim as high as they can. Armed with the knowledge that the #2 top spot of government offices in the free world is  a face that they recognize means a limitless future that is possible to achieve and succeed.

The right to vote is an American privilege.  The act of making your voice heard to shape the workforce of the government that most reflects your issues and concerns is a right.   We want to be apart of everyone being able to exercise all their rights and privileges as American citizens.
